A little guidance for your next good deck.

Importing your first deck
Choose Import a Commander deck, paste your list or upload an export, and resolve the cards. Review unresolved names and select your commander or compatible partners. Import saves the reviewed list; deck validation shows size, singleton and color issues. Guest decks save on this device. Export backups in Settings.
Understanding analysis
Deck size, quantities and mana curves are calculated. Roles, themes, archetypes, dependency links and matchup coverage use explained heuristics and may miss conditional card text. Correct roles on a card and archetypes in Workshop Lab. Community summaries describe qualifying public Workshop decks, with visible sample thresholds; they are not global metagame statistics. This is not a full rules engine or a prediction of who wins.
Deck Doctor and AI transparency
Deck Doctor begins with calculated facts and heuristic findings. Ask Deck Doctor and Pilot Coach can use an optional configured AI provider after your explicit request. Relevant cards, preferences, question and recent conversation context are sent to that provider. Private journals are excluded. AI interprets supplied facts, can make mistakes, and falls back to local coaching if unavailable. No suggestion silently changes your deck. Questions to try: What supports my main plan? Which change should I test next?
Collection and prices
Import a small batch, inspect the preview, then apply it. Quantities combine matching printings and finishes; Undo can recover the last collection change. Search and page through owned cards. Missing Cards and Shopping compare your inventory with deck demand. Price estimates are in USD, may be missing or stale, and are not purchase offers. Your collection is private.
Sandbox and versions
Sandbox holds a separate proposed deck. Review every addition, cut and tradeoff, then save a version or explicitly apply it. Favorite, locked and flavor-essential cards are protected by recommendation policy. Named experiments let you return to a proposal. Save important experiments before closing the tab; unnamed Sandbox changes are temporary.
Playtesting and Game Night
Use Play for mobile life totals, commander damage and notes. Game Night persists on this device, including offline after the workspace has been opened online. Save its review explicitly to create a playtest. Opening Hands and Goldfish help you practice; they do not enforce every Magic rule. Tag the played build so older results do not misrepresent your current deck.
Storage, privacy and account recovery
Guest decks and offline account drafts are stored in this browser. Clearing browser data removes those device copies. Cloud saves can wait offline; resolve conflicts before syncing. Export your data from Account or Settings. Magic-link sign-in uses your email provider and Supabase; request a new link if one expires. Account deletion removes owned cloud records and publications, while moderation audit records may retain an anonymized entry. See the technical privacy inventory before beta launch.
Save failures, other tabs and updates
If a save fails, keep the tab open and export current drafts before reload. A stale tab cannot silently replace a newer saved copy. Compare the export with the current saved version after reloading, or import it as a separate deck. Cloud conflicts offer a recovered copy. Updates wait for your action; finish or save a Game Night review before reloading.
